Whether you are an experienced veterinarian seeking a fulfilling career, or a newer doctor seeking mentorship, Pawleys Veterinary Hospital has a place for you! We are now seeking an AssociateVeterinarian to join our team.
Pawleys Veterinary Hospital, located on Pawleys Island, SC is less than 5 minutes from the beautiful beaches of the South Strand! We have a large number of excellent restaurants, a river walk, and a marsh walk all within a 15-20-minute drive. North of town, Brookgreen Gardens has a zoo, a collection of world class outdoor sculptures, elaborate gardens, and hosts a variety of cultural events throughout the year. Across the street, Huntington Beach State Park is home to a large campground, Atalaya, a Moorish-style castle, walking trails, wetlands and a beach with lifeguards during the summer season. It is a favorite location for bird watchers year-round and alligators can be easily found during the warmer months. If you are looking for more attractions, Myrtle Beach is just a short 30-minute drive north and Charleston, with all its culture and history, are just 90 minutes south of town.
Perhaps the best part of Pawleys Island is its small town, laid back atmosphere, even during the height of the summer visitor season. The schools K-12 are highly rated and are all within a 2.5-mile radius of each other. Pawleys Island is known for being arrogantly shabby.

About Pawleys Veterinary Hospital
The veterinary profession isn’t like any other—it’s the only field predicated on the love of a patient who can’t tell you what’s hurting and can only look to you for help. It takes a special kind of person to do that job, or the jobs supporting that job. NVA doesn’t create those special people—we find them, cultivate them, and give them resources and opportunities to do what only they can do. Whether treating patients, managing a pet resort, or serving hospitals from NVA’s Support Center, NVA’s animal professionals are caring people, united by a love of animals. NVA is proud to honor that connection and is committed to serving our team members by providing them with the tools, support, and freedom to be the professionals they’ve always wanted to be.
