All Valley Animal Care Center is located in the ever growing area of Meridian, Idaho – just minutes from downtown Boise. The construction of the 23,000 square foot facility was completed in July of 2007 where it originally offered overnight emergency care before expanding to general practice services as the needs of the comm...unity grew.
Our entire facility is wired for Wi-Fi paperless documentation of patient charts, x-rays and scans, as well as networked to our two associated veterinary clinics in Boise. Monitors through the facility allow medical staff to view patients via webcams while in isolation, surgery, dog/cat wards as well as monitor patient vitals via Bluetooth from anywhere in the facility.
Why Idaho? Idaho truly is the best of both worlds, offering its residents a cosmopolitan experience in downtown Boise with all the attractions and allure you’d find in any larger U.S. city all while maintaining its organic love and respect for the great outdoors.
Downtown Boise is an artistic and cultural hub housing an eclectic variety of restaurants and bars, local stores and artisan goods, weekend street fair/farmers’ market and so much more. While residents living within Boise’s city limits may lead a more metropolitan lifestyle, they still strongly cherish all the beauty and excitement Idaho’s landscape has to offer. Their constant need for adventure is quenched with the year-round activities available within the state – all with minimal to no travel-time.
For daily activity, the greenbelt is a great way to get outside and even get to work! Spanning more than 30 miles, the greenbelt is a popular trail for active residents also working to reduce their carbon footprint. If you’re looking for something a little further outside of town, Bogus Basin may be your thing. Bogus Basin is a year-round ski area hosting a variety of great hiking and mountain biking trails in the warmer months before turning into a skiing, snowboarding, tubing and snow-shoeing haven in the winter months. Just 16 miles northeast of the city, Bogus Basin is the perfect trip for anyone needing a brief but exciting getaway!
When the hustle and bustle of suburban life gets to be too much and a longer trip is needed, there’s no shortage of in-state destinations to choose from. A short two-hour drive from Boise will take you to the stunning and scenic town of McCall – a resort town nestled on the southern shore of Lake Payette – picturesque Coeur d’Alene in northern Idaho, or Sun Valley – America’s first winter resort. All these (and more) lend themselves as perfect backdrops for a wide variety of activities from hiking and horse trails to white water rafting, world-class fly-fishing, skiing, snowboarding and more!
