Seattle Veterinary Associates (SVA) is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator to join our company. We are a progressive, veterinarian-owned, AAHA- accredited practice with four locations and a mobile service all situated within the heart of North Seattle. SVA has been a charter member of Veterinary Management Groups (VMG) for over 25 years, and we currently employ 12 DVMs and approximately 70 staff members.

The Practice Administrator will work directly with the veterinarian owners to establish the company’s business vision and goals for all four clinics/hospitals. Together, this Leadership Team will make many of the day-to-day veterinary practice management decisions. These include financial decisions, budgeting, employee management, marketing, drug and supply inventory and facility management. The Practice Administrator will also lead the Management Team comprised of a bookkeeper, human resources, marketing, and inventory specialists.
The candidate must possess a high level of integrity, exhibit maturity, and embrace working in a team- managed environment. They will take an active role in the team process and leadership, providing oversight, support and appropriate feedback to other team members in order to improve workflow and efficiency. The candidate should have expertise in all areas of human resources, financial, marketing, facility, DEA and OSHA compliance.
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hospital Administrator. While not required, CVPM certification is preferred, and an MBA degree would be a plus.
