South Towne Veterinary Hospital is a small animal practice that treats dogs, cats and exotics including avian and reptiles. We are a compassionate, dedicated team of Veterinarians, Licensed Veterinary Technicians and hospital personnel with upwards of 50-years, exemplary care and service! We are currently seeking a highly motivated Full Time Associate Veterinarian to join the South Towne Veterinary Hospital team! Due to our stellar reputation in the community and amongst other local animal hospitals, South Towne is in the process of expanding our facility, hours and the 2.5 doctor team. The Associate Veterinarian is responsible for medical, surgical and dental procedures performed in the hospital, along with maintaining complete and accurate medical records of our patients. This candidate will be helping to define the standards of the practice by leading by example and creating a positive work environment for the entire clinic. The Associate Veterinarian will work closely and supervise the veterinary technicians. The Associate veterinarian is an integral member of the healthcare team. It is important that this candidate can communicate compassionately and effectively with clients so that all treatment options are presented to work with the clients on making informed decisions about the care for their pet. This position will require working closely with the Client Care Team to improve on client communication and satisfaction. A consistent quality of medical care to our patients is our top priority! Candidates must meet the following qualifications: · DVM or VMD degree · A current New York state license · New graduates encouraged to apply · Scheduling flexibility, including weekends · Experience preferred in exotic care We offer a competitive salary, health insurance, as well as uniform and continuing education allowance.
