We are seeking a confident, energetic individual to join our team. The clinic has been serving the community for over 35 years. Deltona Animal Medical Center provides medical care not only to Deltona, but to several neighboring towns. We have a variety of clients from rural to metropolitan. Empowering our clients through education is our priority; by doing this we are able to care for their pets with excellence.
Our doctors are empowered to lead the team and the clinic. It is important that our veterinarians continue to provide high quality medicine, and to do this, they are afforded the ability to adjust their treatment plans to fit the patient.
There are no after-hour responsibilities. Our veterinarians are encouraged to take time to themselves to maintain a good life balance. Being in Deltona allows for the closeness of the beaches and the Orlando entertainment, without having to deal with the daily traffic hassles.
This position is full time, averaging about 40-45 hours a week. A confident individual who is willing to help the clinic grow is a must.
A valid FL state and DEA licenses are required.

Additional Salary Information: We pay our doctors Pro-Sal. The base salary is negotiable. Production is paid monthly. We also provide 401K, employee pet discounts, and two weeks paid vacation.

Deltona Animal Medical Center is a daytime small animal practice with a 35 year reputation in the community. We have strong doctors that promote education. The clinic has state of the art in house laboratory equipment, digital radiology, portable ultrasound, digital dental radiology, and more. As a clinic, we support the doctors as the driving force and the dictator of the pets healthcare, for we know that every pet, and every family, is different.
The clinic maintains a strong working relationship with the local specialty practice in Orlando. We have several after-hour emergency clinics available to our clients. The University of Florida Veterinary Teaching Hospital is only a 40 minute drive, should that be needed.
